Sleep is the most basic function of the human body and actually we might argue the most critical.  The human body shuts down very quickly without sleep, much quicker than without food or water. And yet many people with hectic career lives try and get by with very little sleep not understanding what effect that has. Or they may well suffer insomnia, and not know what to do about it.
