Experience

Jim is a Partner at David Goldstone Associates, a UK-based Executive Search and Leadership Advisory firm, and a SpenglerFox affiliate. Jim is a seasoned leadership development professional with a passion for helping people and organisations grow. He joined the firm because of his long working relationship with David and their shared values of personalised, high quality and innovative solutions.

He has over 30 years of experience advising FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 CEOs, management teams and Boards of Directors across industry sectors in the UK, Middle East, Northern Europe and the Americas.

In 2016 he joined Deloitte as the Partner responsible for their Leadership and Talent Practice, which he led for 4 years.

Jim moved into leadership and talent solutions as CEO for Capital H Group and the Centre for High Performance Development in 2008. He was headhunted in 2010 to lead Korn Ferry Leadership and Talent Consulting across the UK, North Europe and the Middle East. From 2014 to 2016 Jim ran the UK and North Europe regions for Hay Group; a pure play human capital consultancy where he was instrumental in developing their business leading to their acquisition by Korn Ferry.

Jim spent his early career in the energy and utilities sector, initially in consulting as an associate partner for Accenture and then as UK MD for a new entrant renewable energy company, which he built and then sold in late 2008. He is a lawyer and psychologist by training, and a frequent speaker and author in leadership development.
